The German war cemetery in Lommel is located in the province of Limburg in the north of Belgium. Many cycling and hiking trails lead through the Bosland forest region and there is a special attraction just a few kilometers from the war cemetery: the treetop cycle path, which takes visitors up into the heights.
Several vacation and recreation parks in the immediate vicinity invite you to relax, especially in summer. And if you are planning a route along important historical sites, you can also visit the "Liberation Garden" museum in the garrison town of Leopoldsburg in addition to the Lommel war cemetery.
